Background: Normocalcaemic primary hyperparathyroidism (NPHPT) can be considered as an early biochemical manifestation of hypercalcaemic primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT). Vitamin D repletion and exclusion of other conditions is recommended before diagnosing NPHPT.
